Investiture Ceremony
It is rightly said The key to successful leadership is influence and not authority.
Investiture ceremony is one of the most important events of a school. It marks the commencement of a new chapter , where students are entrusted with colorful leadership positions and liabilities.
DSIS has been always inspired by the fact that students are the torch bearers of tomorrow.
8th July 2024, under the leadership and guidance of our respected principal Mrs Varsha Jaideep and the entire faculty of DSIS, the newly elected student council have taken their oath to serve the institution in the best way possible and they were handed over their badges and the respective flags along with their responsibilities.
We hope the future of the institution will be safer under the new leadership.

Raksha Bandhan
Raksha Bandhan is a popular and traditional Hindu ceremony.
On this day, sisters of all ages tie an amulet called the rakhi around the wrists of their brothers. They symbolically protect them, shower all their love and care and in return receive gifts from their brothers. The ceremony is a practice to strengthen the bond between brothers and sisters. DSIS was blessed to witness such a beautiful bond of innocence. The tiny sisters tied Rakhi on their lil brothers and exchanged the warmth of the bond.
We wish that these bonds of innocence may always enlighten our lives.
