"Visual Vista" - A History & Math Exhibition

13th July was a happening day for DSIS. "Visual Vista" , the mathematics, history and geography exhibition was the gala event. This year's theme was 'Rajasthan'. The tireless effort of the students and teachers had created a miniature Rajasthan in the school premises. Parents walked in to get the colourful flavour. There were more than 100exhibits from kindergarten to high school who had shown their talent and creativity through their presentation. It was also a memorable day as we had the blood donation camp in collaboration with Sagar Hospital. DSIS extends heartfelt gratitude towards the parents for their cooperation in this holy cause in the 25th year of the institution.

My Father, My Hero

Fathers are the first heroes in our lives. However much we grow up, our favourite hero is always our beloved fathers . On this note DSIS has celebrated father's day to make the best dad's feel little special for the endless struggle and effort they put up for their kids.
Fun activities(both indoor and outdoor) by the little ones of our kindergarten were conducted, where both fathers and kids were involved. Colorful charts and decoration for our dearest daddies brought a wide smile on their faces. The middle school students participated in Elocution, which had the topic MY FATHER MY HERO where they spoke their hearts out for their superhero.

Yoga Day

Yoga is that powerful medicine in our lives which cures us from all kinds of diseases.
Like every year this year also DSIS have celebrated Yoga day with dedication and enthusiasm. We intend to implant little more awareness among our students about the significance of Yoga in our lives . From our tiny tots of Kindergarten to the 10th standard students, everyone participated in meditation and yoga sessions throughout the day. The incharge teachers and the PT masters left no stone unturned to make this day a successful one.

Environment Day Celebration

Let's plant more trees, reduce waste, and cherish our planet every single day.
World Environment Day is celebrated on 5th June every year to raise awareness and to take actions to conserve the environment.
To commemorate this day the students of DSIS have come up with their best initiatives.
Students from Kindergarten to High school along with their teachers were involved into various presentations.
From the primary to the high school, students have put up beautiful dance, song, drama etc on environment day.
The Planting and watering of Sapling by our honourable secretary of DSI Shri Galiswami and our respected principal Mrs. Varsha Jaideep along with the teachers were also a part of the day's celebration.
We look forward to create a better tomorrow not just for us but for our next generation as well.

Graduation Day

"As the saying rightly goes "All's well that ends well", so is the Graduation day.
It marks the culmination of years of hard work and dedication for students. It is the day when our students walk out in the pride of achievements, surrounded by their loved ones, teachers and peers. Dayananda Sagar International School proudly hosted the Graduation day on 3rd February 2024, for the kindergarten and the grade 10th students.
The event happened to be in two shifts of morning and evening. The morning show was a more colour ful one with our tiny tots whereas the evening was full of emotions blended with joy and excitement.
The kindergarten students might not remember this day but it adds to their look-book as a nostalgic day in years to come. The dias had Mr. Thippeswamy (the chief guest), Shri. Galiswami (secretary, Dayananda Sagar Institutions), Mr. Nishan H Sagar (joint secretary, Dayananda Sagar Institutions), Mr. Mahesh (coordinator, Dayananda Sagar Schools) as eminent dignitaries.
The day was full of smiles, tears, moments, trophies and a lot of memories. The Principal of Dayananda Sagar International School, Mrs. Varsha Jaideep with her team stands proud to witness the students embarking into their new chapter"

Sports Day

"With the onset of the last month of the year, Dayananda Sagar International School has hosted the much awaited Annual Sports Meet 2023, ZEST on Dec'2. The occasion was graced by the presence of the chief guest Mrs. Hazel Mary, International throwball player, Secretary of Dayananda Sagar Institutions Shri Galiswami and other dignitaries. It was a day of enthusiasm, passion, discipline and enjoyment. Students of DSIS from the kindergarten to 10th std have given their best performance in track events and display presentation. The respected principal of DSIS, Mrs Varsha Jaideep has always been a strong mentor who aims in the all-round development of students. Through applause, competition, and score board the day was concluded with the winners trophy and multiple awards until next time."

Science Exhibition- Aurora

"As the name suggests "Aurora" has showered bright and magnificent light on the students, teachers and the team of DSIS.
On 8th July 2023, DSIS organised the yearly science exhibition Aurora. Enthusiastic students under the guidance of the science faculty has portrayed their best creativity.
Science buzzer, hydraulic robo, hydraulic lift, inverter, models of earthquake detector, hologram, vaccum cleaner, lava lamp, light sensor, working model of heart, kidney and lungs, and various experiments were showcased by our talented students. Not just the teachers but the parents were extremely delighted to see the little scientists with their great zeal. The team of DSIS hope that the young scientists may unfurl the school flag higher with pride!

Red Day

Colour day is celebrated not just to make a colourful ambience around our kids but also to highlight the significance of the colours. The lilchamps of DSIS celebrated Red day on 26th June. Both students and Teachers were all dressed in red and with all their enthusiasm the teachers decorated the school boards and classrooms in red. Meaningful charts were put up. Activities like ladybug craft, paper craft cherries and thumbprint strawberry were performed by the students and the teachers of the kindergarten team. It was a bright colourful and happy day in the school premises.

Environment Day Celebration

Leo Tolstoy said, " One of the first conditions of happiness is that the link between man and nature shall not be broken." World Environment Day is celebrated on 5th June every year to raise awareness and to take actions to conserve the environment. To commemorate this day the students of DSIS have come up with their best initiatives. Students from Kindergarten to High school along with their teachers were involved into various presentations. The tiny tots of Pre nursery, LKG and UKG had their classroom activities, class decoration and photoshoot resembling various elements of our Mother Nature Every nook and corner of the school was decorated in green to highlight the significance of the day. Students of classes 1 - 10 have observed this day with their presentation in special assembly. Our little hands of 1st - 3rd standard have recited Kannada environment song, dressed up in various forms to represent the greenery that we aim to save. Teachers have also presented informative facts to encourage students in saving and preserving mother earth . The high school students have presented a short skits named "The Earth Story" and "Save water" which laid stress on saving nature from pollution and to conserve water. Added to this was action song, dance and speech. The Planting of Sapling by our respected principal Mrs. Varsha Jaydeep and watering of plants by the teachers were also a part of the day's celebration. We look forward to create a better tomorrow not just for us but for our next generation as well.

Investiture Ceremony

Dayananda Sagar International School observed the investiture ceremony with all gaiety. The students are prepared to take on the role of leaders and carry out the responsibilities delegated to them by the school.
The ceremony began with lighting the lamp followed by dance.
Principal Mrs Varsha Jaideep motivated the students to work hard with unity, zeal, vim and zest. The council members and prefect marched dignifiedly to receive the badges. Principal administered the oath during which young aspiring leaders pledged to discharge the duties with sincerity.
The program was concluded by vote of thanks.

Science Exhibition Resonance

The Science Exhibition by the sagarites, the young Scientists who have an inspring journey through Sound and Sight. Dayananda Sagar International School takes immense pleasure to invite all the parents for the "Science Exhibition" on Saturday.

Orientation programme for New Parents

Parents orientation for New parents was organized on 11th June 2022. Started the session with the prayer by Mrs. Gayathri.S.R and Mrs. Vidya. Principal Mrs. Varsha Jaideep addressed the gathering and presented a power point presentation which was to bring the parents together to know about the school and their child's progress. She gave an introduction about the Management and Trustees, facilities available in the school. The parents were given an idea about the school curriculum and extra activities to be introduced after school hours, introduced the vice principal, co-ordinators, admin co-ordinator, and class teachers of the respective classes. She also gave an awareness to follow the school timings and discipline in the school.
Mr Prabarakan from Prodigy gave the inputs about the Math App to the parents and the oreintation was concluded with a thank you note to the parents.

World Environment Day

Dayanada Sagar International School celebrated World Environment Day on June 6th. Belonging from the state of eminent environmental activist Tulsi Gowda, the main purpose of the celebration was to spread awareness about the need to protect enviornment. Colourful charts and posters by teachers and students, performances by kindergarten children and valuable articles and ideas were shared by our respective Principal ma'am and the teachers. Lastly,the full team of teachers representated day by their green attire.

Dear parents
Very happy to say that Dayananda Sagar International School have started the summer camp for the children to come together to have fun and learn new things.
This will help the children to try new adventures away from home environment. Besides, during summer camp many children make new friends and develop self-confidence and social skills.

We have kick started with our summer camp 2022. Children are very enthusiastically taking part in the karate activity which includes Rope climbing, tug off war and many more.

The Government of India In the year 1984 decided to celebrate the 12th January i,e birthday of Swami Vivekananda as National Youth Day
The Union Government observed that the philosophy of Swami Ji and the ideals for which he lived and worked could be a great source of inspiration for the Indian Youth.
Swami Vivekananda was a Youth Icon and his teachings are still guiding youth to make a greater nation.

Sagar Chicks in Orange Radiated, Warmth and Happiness, combining the virtual energy, both Teachers and kids were in a harmonious shades of orange colour.

Green day was virtually celebrated at Dayananda Sagar International school on Friday 9th July 2021.
